We use the personal information we collect from you for:

Access and Correction

Under the Freedom of Information Act, consumers are entitled to access personal information held by agencies about themselves, and to request correction. Any Al-Asr participant may make a request for access or correction of personal information under the Act.

The Act sets out certain time limits for agencies to respond to requests. Agencies must respond "as soon as reasonably practicable" and in any case not later than 20 working days after receiving the request. Sometimes a response may take longer. For instance, if the request has to be transferred to another agency or there is a lot of material to gather.
