Application Process - Canada

For Canadian Students

1.
Register Online
Complete the online registration form at www.imam-alasr.com/trips/SVC-Registration.php.
2.
Print Forms
Print the following forms:
    1. Iranian Visa Form for Canadians (one copy)
    2. Reference Request Form (two copies)
3.
Complete Forms
1. Fill in the visa form.
2. Complete both reference request forms by adding your name, address and contact details and then ask two Shias who are either (i) resident alims, (ii) community leaders, or (iii) prominent community workers to complete the reference form.
4.
Scan Documents
Scan the following documents and save in .jpg format:
    1. Photo
    2. Passport
    3. Visa Form
    4. Both References
Note: file size should be less than 500KB. Ladies are requested to observe the Islamic dress code (Hijab) in their photographs.

Complete Application
Form Online
Once you have been acceted, you will receive an email from Al-Asr with your login details. Login and complete the application form.
6.
Upload Documents
Login and upload the scaned documents:
    1. Photo
    2. Passport
    3. Visa Form
    4. Both References
7.
Send Deposit
to Al-Asr
Send $300 (Canadian Dollars) deposit to:

Apply For Visa
Send the following to the Iranian Embassy:
    1. Al-Asr Visa Letter (Login and get a print out)
    2. Photo
    3. Passport
    4. Visa Form
    5. Fee
9.
Purchase Ticket
Book flight to and from Iran. You must reach Tehran before the Al-Asr group, which arrives on flight IR710 at 2.30am on Monday 11th July and leave Iran after the group leaves, which leaves on flight IR711 at 8am Sunday 7th August 2010.

Notes for Canadian students:

  • The cost for Canadian and American students is $850 (US Dollars). $300 (Canadian Dollars) deposit should be paid before the trip and the balance should be paid to Al-Asr on the first day in Iran.
  • The package begins and ends at Tehran Airport.
  • Canadian students must arrange their own visas.
  • Students must be in full uniform when they meet the group at the airport.
  • Travel Insurance is optional and if required then student should arrange their own.
  • Age restriction is 16-25 only.
